10 week Thursday evening jewellery skills class with Jacqueline Bell. The class will run from 6pm to 8.30pm; suitable for all levels.
This class is designed for anyone who would like to start making jewellery for the first time.
You will be given instruction on how to use hand tools such as pliers, saws, files, measuring gauges, hammers and forming tools, as well as learning how to solder and finish your work to a high standard.
You will be given a choice of starter projects to choose from, including ring making, cutting out a shape to make a pendant or brooch, and setting a stone.
Copper, brass and other non-precious materials will be supplied in class to make your pieces. If you would like to use silver and gemstones, there will be a small stock available which you can purchase. You can also use Jacqueline’s carefully researched list of suppliers to order your own materials.
The class will run from 6pm to 8.30pm for 10 weeks, with a one-week break for half-term on the 17th oct. There are 5 places available.
To book, simply choose the number of tickets you’d like (perhaps you’d like to book for you and a friend?) and press ‘book tickets’. You will receive a confirmation email initially, and a further email with more details about the class before it starts.
