Two day beginners jewellery skills class with Jacqueline Bell, introducing the basics of stone setting and ring making. The class will run from 10am to 4.pm; over 2 days. suitable for beginners.
You will be amazed at what you can achieve in this weekend workshop!
This course provides a quick introduction to some of the tools and techniques used by professional jewellers.
You will learn how to make a silver ring band to your exact size and then, using silver tubing, will set the ring with a 5mm round gemstone of your choice.
No experience of making jewellery is required, just lots of enthusiasm.
Class times- 10am- 4pm with a break for lunch. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or Jacqueline can recommend plenty of lovely places to eat in Leith.
